Wedding plans for our daughter has fully taken over our minds and calendars as we plan for a country wedding in our back yard. We are in full blown wedding mode and our daughter has taught us a bunch regarding vision, different ways to create a fabulous wedding in a modest yet tasteful way. Go to www.theknot.com and see all kinds of resources about wedding plans. Fabulous ideas. The biggest dilemma was the size and guest list. We could have easily had 400-500 people but decided to limit it to a much smaller gathering of about 150. The list gets real short when you have a big family on both sides and add in 25 close friends guests of each of the bride and groom and BANG! There are a hundred and fifty guests. Where do you park 65-70 cars? How do you provide "toilet" provisions without it feeling like a rock concert with a bunch of disgusting units lined up?
Well, I am here to tell you, the research and advice on what to do for everything is all over the net. It's filtering what works for you and does not cost you an arm or leg is the big challenge. Stay tuned for some great photos.
Engagement photos are a great start!
